1924'te kurulan Cumhuriyet SenfoniSymphony OrkestraOrchestrası (CSO), TürkiyeTurkey'nin en saygın ve eski orkestralı arasında yer almaktadır. Ankara merkezli bu enstitü, müzik mükemmeliyetine ve kültürel karmaşıklığına olan ülkenin özünü yansıtmaktadır.
Misyon ve Faaliyet
CSO'nun misyonu, klasik şaheserlerden çağdaş eserlere geniş bir orkestra müziği spektrumunu sunmak ve ulusal ve uluslararası ölçekte bir kültür işığı olmaktır. Dünyanın en prestijli sahnelerinde performans yapan orkestra, hassasiyet, tutku ve zarafetle TürkiyeTurkey'nin sanat ruhunu temsil etmektedir.

Uzun tarihi ve yüksek sanat standartlarıyla CSO, TürkiyeTurkey'nin müzik mirası ile modern orkestra kültürü arasında köprü teşkil etmektedir. Klasik ve çağdaş müzik repertuarında ve kültür diplomasisi görevlerinde rehber konumundadır. Her performans ile müzikal tecrübelerini ve teknik yeterliliğini kanıtlamakta, uluslararası sahnede TürkiyeTurkey'yi temsil etmektedir.

History & Artistic Heritage
Based in Ankara, the Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest musical institutions in the world. Its rich history traces back to 1826 when the imperial "Muzika-i Hümayun" (palace band and orchestra) was established under the Ottoman Empire. Following the founding of the Republic of Turkey, the orchestra was relocated to the capital city of Ankara in 1924 by direct order of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, becoming the country's first national symphony orchestra. Over its two-century existence, the institution has played a leading role in popularizing polyphonic Western classical music across Turkey.
International Recognition & Cultural Diplomacy
The Symphony Orchestra serves as a key cultural ambassador for Turkey, having performed extensively across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The orchestra has graced the stages of prestigious international festivals and collaborated with some of the world's most renowned conductors and soloists (such as İdil Biret, Suna Kan, and Maxim Vengerov). Its vast repertoire spans classical masterpieces, modern contemporary compositions, works by Turkish composers, and innovative electronic music fusions.

Role in the Ancient Symphonia Project
For the "Ancient Symphonia" project, the Symphony Orchestra takes the stage with over 80 elite classical musicians. Providing the massive, epic wall of sound beneath Burak Yeter's modern synthesiser beats, the orchestra's violins, violas, cellos, and brass section create a temporal bridge across 2000 years of history. This monumental collision of the orchestra's acoustic grandeur with contemporary electronic production pushes the boundaries of symphonic music, offering audiences an unparalleled acoustic experience.
